Section2Time to Discuss

Let's start with a brief survey of where you are at.

  • How many already have a project? Are you part of a team?

  • Does your institution have incentives or initiatives regarding open or online texts?

Our first goal is to prime the pump by discussing your own experience and ideas.

Let's divide up into groups of about four people each. Then, each of you should share about the following:

  1. Introduce yourself to your group!

  2. What is your idea for a possible class supplement (or even text) you'd like to make free and online?

Let's come back to the front now and share a few of the ideas you may have. If you don't have one yet, that's okay; the goal of PTX is to make it easy for you when you do have an idea.
