Using BibTeX for a math CV’s publication list

In preparation for my upcoming job search, I wanted to do some polishing on my CV. I’ve been using CurVe for my CV, which has been OK, but not great. It also has some awful problems with layout at the bottom of pages; far too often, I’ve found the bottom line of a page overprinted by the page number. I did some looking and came upon moderncv, which I think I like. (I’ve been struggling a bit with how to put some of my information into its format, but I’m making decisions that seem to be working.) One thing I figured I should probably do is switch from manually listing my publications on my CV to using BibTeX for it, since the list is growing and hopefully will continue to do so. I spent way too long figuring out how to do this properly, but now that I’ve got it, I figure I should probably share, since Google wouldn’t give me any help. Read more »
